Criteria and instructions to receive induction:
Students who have met the criteria for induction into UPE will receive an email inviting them to join in February of each year. There is no need for students to apply, as all undergraduate and graduate students within the major will be evaluated automatically, and an email will be sent to those who qualify. The induction process and membership dues will be shared via email, with the induction ceremony held in late March/early April.
Inducted students will receive their certificate and pins at the ceremony; students will receive a free one-year ACM student membership using the code on the certificate.
Graduating undergraduate and graduate students will receive honor cords during the department’s annual Senior Showcase Celebration in late April. Additional graduation regalia can be purchased via the UPE website.
